Millbrook Trail Rides owner and manager Meredith Gauer is a certified merit badge counselor for Boy Scouts, and is also qualified to help Girl Scouts fulfill their horsemanship badge requirements.

The cost for our badge program plus a trail ride is $90 per scout.

We can take up to 10 riders on the trail at a time. If the troop has a higher number of riders, we will split into two groups for trail riding.

 

The minimum height for trail riding is 4’4” tall. However, we need the majority of riders to be over 4’8”; otherwise, we will modify the outing to be more appropriate (i.e., instead of trail-riding, we will offer hand-led rides or arena lessons).

Helmets are required for all minors and will be provided at the barn. All minors must bring a waiver signed by their parent or guardian. The Millbrook Trail Rides waiver can be found here.

Scout leaders or parents may join the trail ride for $65/rider but are included in the ten-person maximum per group ride.
